Hebrews 5:14 - 6:1 Solid food is for those who are mature, who have trained themselves to recognize the difference between right and wrong and then do what is right. So let us stop going over the basics of Christianity again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don't need to start all over again with the importance of turning away from evil deeds and placing our faith in God.

MONTHLY THEMES
The following Twelve basic character traits serve as the foundation and platform for the GCBC character model.

MONTH	THEME
January	LOYALTY	The state or quality of being faithful to commitments, obligations, a leader, cause, or the like; a sense of duty or devoted attachment to something or someone.
February	COURAGE	The quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc., without fear; bravery.
March	FORGIVENESS	The act of granting pardon for or remission of an offense or debt ceasing to feel resentment against.
April	INTEGRITY	The state or quality of doing the right thing the right way for the right reason expecting the right results to benefit others, and glorify GOD according to His Word.
May	PERSEVERANCE	Commitment to completion; continuing toward completion of a task or objective spite of difficulties.
June	JUSTICE	The moral principle determining conduct guided by truth, reason and fairness, according to principle.
July	HUMILITY	The quality or condition of being not proud or arrogant and having a modest sense of one’s own importance.
August	RESPECT	Esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality, or trait, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or trait.
September	OBEDIENCE	The state or quality of being willing to comply with or follow commands, restrictions, wishes, or instructions.
October	RESPONSIBILITY	The state or fact of being answerable or accountable for something within one’s power, control, or management.
November	RESOURCEFULNESS	Able to deal skillfully and promptly with new situations, difficulties.
December	LOVE	To nourish and cherish another. Agape describes GOD's nature and CHRIST's greatest commandment. Love results in an awareness of GOD's presence.

We envision CHRIST centered leaders of high moral character, learning the truth, living free, serving one another and worshiping our GOD.	Our mission is salvation, education, liberation, ministry and worship.
